Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a lightweight double-stroller, its folded size and weight are important factors to consider. Selecting a stroller that is simple to use and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to place into the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport security and other foreign streets.
The most lightweight strollers have an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanism to lessen the burden on parents' bodies. Many also come with a wide range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for families that are on the move. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seats accommodate children up to 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents along with a large storage bin and 3-tier extended canopy with the ability to peek through the window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud has one of the lowest scores on our quality tests due to its thin feel as well as hard plastic seats and a design that seems outdated. It's also costly compared to other lightweight strollers, so it's not the best option when you're looking for a low-cost option.
It's not the most light stroller but it's got enough features that it is worth a look. Its swiveling front wheels make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it can jump curbs with minimal effort unlike many other light strollers that veer off course when trying to do the same thing. The Cloud's low handle is a problem however, as it's at knee height, and not adjustable. It's difficult to push it while your legs hang in that way. The lack of padding does not make it any easier.
During our testing and testing, we discovered the Cloud to be simple to set up and open. To close it, it's a bit more difficult. You need to slide the slider before you press the large white button. This can be quite a hassle especially if you're juggling kids while doing it.
The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that can accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. It's not the greatest width however, and you'll likely have to leave something inside for the back to take it out. The Cloud comes with an adult and child tray with two cup holders however, they're too narrow to comfortably hold larger bottles or cups.
Kolcraft has been around since 1946. Kolcraft brand has been around since 1946, and is a third-generation family-owned business. smallest double buggy is a fairly barebones lightweight double stroller that's perfect for travel. It's extremely light at 18 pounds (lighter than some single strollers!) and it folds flat for easy transportation and storage. It also has independently reclining seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. It also comes with a one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-sized certified.

The swivel wheels of the Jeep are also great to maneuver over bumps and uneven surfaces. However, this stroller doesn't accept car seats so your kids must be six months old and have a solid neck control to ride in the front seat. The stroller comes with an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.
smallest double buggy -by-side stroller is Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's amazingly slim and narrow (26.5 inches wide!) It's got a lot of luxurious features that make it perfect for travel. It is easy to fold and is very mobile. It is easily able to fit in overhead compartments as well as trunks of airplanes.
Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's similar to Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has a few key distinctions. It's a little more expensive, but it has a better sun canopy and better maneuverability. It comes with a handy strap for carrying and can hold kids weighing up to 44 pounds per seat.
Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+
If you're looking for a stroller that is light in weight but also packed with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at only 13 pounds but also has plenty of storage options, including cup holders for the parent and child and a sippy-cup bag for the child and a parent's storage pouch and more. The stroller is also compatible with a child's chair and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that can be easily engaged. This stroller is designed to expand along with your child. It can be transformed from a baby to a toddler stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and it's suitable for children six months and over.
Another thing to take note of about this stroller is that it only operates on swivel wheels, and doesn't come with locking capabilities therefore it may not be the best option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It is able to maneuver well on paved sidewalks and other smooth surfaces, however it's a great choice for most families.
This is one of the smallest and light double strollers with full-size features. It can be folded with one hand and put away in the trunk or garage. It can also be used as a stroller for travel and is compatible with all car seats without the need for additional adapters.
Unlike most lightweight travel strollers, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ features two seats that can accommodate up to 50 lbs per seat (100 lbs total). The seats have individual leg rests and 3-panel canopy that has flip-out sunvisors and peekaboo window.
The seats are cushioned to ensure your child's safety. They also come with five-point safety harnesses which can be adjusted to three different height positions. Each seat comes with an infant cushion, which is ideal for babies. The cup holders for parent and child, the cell phone holders, and the huge storage basket will be adored by parents. The stroller comes with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent option for parents who want an easy-to-use double that can carry two kids. Its sling-style seats are comfortable and offer a similar amount of headroom. It also allows children to be seated side-by-side. In contrast to other strollers that are side-by-side that are available, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is ideal for napping. Its recline feature is easy to use, but it's not really flat. For taller children, there may be a leg hanging when in reclined mode. It also features a large canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking out sunlight than other strollers in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to move through door frames which was a major issue for us with other models in our testing. It is easy to fold and the handlebars are located close to the ground. Its only flaw is its small storage space, which can feel uncomfortable when filled with things for kids.
Joovy is a family-owned business that designs unique, functional and quality baby products. Their range of products includes innovative baby bottles like the Joovy Zoom X2 Double stroller and an innovative raincover that fits many popular strollers. The company's products are reasonably priced, and they usually feature fun designs that will draw children.
In our lab tests of double strollers, we evaluate various factors to determine how simple the stroller is to use, such as how easy it is to fold and set up and adjust the safety harness as well as open and close the brakes, lift and carry the stroller as if placing it in a trunk of a car, and then install and remove an infant car seat (if appropriate). We also looked at the durability and strength of the stroller as well as whether each product has a parent tray which can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program due to its user-friendliness. It also earned the top score in our latest guide to the top double strollers. Its user-friendly design comes with a one hand, no tilt recline, as well as an enormous canopy with ventilation mesh that is visible even when it is tilted. There are also separate kid trays, built-in cupholders and pockets with zippers for parents, and a large storage basket.
